Ferndale Park‘s Thames Valley location is a prestigious property area – a perfect blend of old and new with charming cottages set amidst top quality shopping and leisure facilities.
Bray is located between Maidenhead and Windsor and includes the picturesque hamlets of Fifield, Holyport and Oakley Green. The village has an attractive frontage onto the River Thames with one of the pretties locks in the middle reaches, as well as a popular riverside marina.
Michael Woolfson has been in the park homes industry for over 30 years and, when establishing and redeveloping parks, he has always aimed ‘to do the job properly’. He also believes it is vital to keep residents informed of the work that is going on.
The park is open to residents of all ages, but children are not allowed to live there permanently and there is a ‘no pets’ rule in operation. All of the new plots on Ferndale Park are fenced with low level ranch-style fencing and are freshly turfed. Homes are sold on a package deal basis with the price including mains gas central heating, direct electricity supply, a brand new concrete base with brick skirt and twin units have brick steps to both doors.
Due to the original layout of the park, there is no space for residents to park their cars alongside their homes, but plenty of car parking space has been provided to cater for the needs of residents and their visitors.
We thought this a very pleasant park, situated in a very desirable and most attractive part of the country. It is very well situated for access to Windsor and Maidenhead, and to the motorway network and a country bus service stops directly outside the park entrance. Although very conveniently placed for access to villages and major towns, Ferndale Park has a rural feel to it and it enjoys beautiful views at the front of the park across open farmland.
