Frequently Asked Questions related to Park Home Living

Can I park my work vehicle at the park?

All our parks have a ‘no commercial vehicles’ rule. There is more information about this on our Park Rules page, but if you have more detailed questions, please call us 0118 932 8328 or use our contact form.

How many cars can I keep at the park?

For park-by-park details of this, see our Park rules page.

For more information about this, see our Park Rules page.

Is there a 50+ age requirement on your parks?

The rule is that anyone living in a park home on our parks is a resident; all residents must be 50 years old or above.

This is a very successful element of our park home living formula. Residents really enjoy being on a small scale community of like minded neighbours. If you have other questions about how it feels to be on a semi-retirement development, speak to the park manager who will show you round, when you book in with us to view a home for sale and they’ll give you the inside track! Any other queries, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Can I have visitors to stay over?

Of course you can! While no resident can be under the age of 50 years, lots of our folks are grandparents and will have their grandchildren to stay for a night or two, here and there, to help out family or just to spoil them for a little while.

How do I arrange a broadband connection to my home?

You can do this using the normal channels, as for any other domestic property. If you have any specific queries, do give us a ring 0118 932 8328 or raise them during the purchase process.

What are your office opening hours?

The office is open:
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.30pm
Saturday 8am to 5pm
Sunday & Bank Holidays 10am to 4pm

During those hours there will be someone either to deal with your query tor to take a message and pass it on to our Parks team. Alternatively, please fill out our online contact form.

What are the park rules?

We do have a set of rules in place on each of our parks to ensure the comfort and convenience of our residents. Please take a look at our Park Rules page to find out more.

Who maintains the grounds?

Greenford Park Homes is responsible for the maintenance of the communal grounds and park boundaries. Residents are responsible for the maintenance of their home, the pitch and any outbuildings, fencing or vegetation enjoyed within the pitch.

Do I need home insurance?

Yes, in the same way as conventional housing, you are required to hold insurance which covers the structure of the home and we reccommend you also obtain contents insurance.

Do your parks have onsite management?

Each park has a nominated resident who takes on the responsibility of being the Resident Manager. They have regular calls with head office and are the first ‘port of call’ for residents in the event of a park-related question or query.
